Company History
Since the inception of the founding company Techmatic Industrials (Pty) Ltd. in 1986 our group has grown from strength to strength.
The Johannesburg based sister company Techmatic Engineering (Pty) Ltd. was established in 2000. At the same time the manufacturing division Bulkmatic Solids Machinery (Pty) Ltd. was established in order to separate the equipment manufacturing and projects divisions.
Our designs are based on over 34 years of hands-on practical field experience in bulk solids materials handling. Problems experienced in the field are constantly fed back to the equipment manufacturing division. Design and processing methods are constantly updated and refined.
Corporate Identity
The corporate logo represents a stockpile of granular or powdered product viewed from above. It embodies the core business of the company – and that is handling, conveying, processing and storage of dry bulk materials. At the same time the logo includes a hint of a rotary vane feeders star shaped impeller with its blades rotating to control the flow of powders.

Head Office (Johannesburg)
The 6300m2 premises comprise of a covered area of 3000m2 of which roughly 2500m2 is factory area and 500m2 offices. A further 250m2 of office space was added recently with building plans also approved for adding another floor above the existing reception area. Two 5 ton overhead cranes with 6.4m under the hook cover the complete factory area and allow for maximum loading flexibility. Conveniently situated between the N14 highway and the N1 highway the world class facility is ideally positioned for accessibility and transport of larger pieces of equipment.
